Goms is one of the most renowned cross-country skiing regions in Switzerland. With its snow-sure location at 1,250 to 1,400 meters above sea level, the high valley offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiers of all levels. The cross-country ski trail network stretches over more than 100 kilometers and offers both classic and skating trails. The highlights include.
Rottenloipe
26 km, easy – along the young Rhone from Oberwald to Niederwald.
Slope trail
27 km, medium – sporty route with slight inclines.
Sun trail
8.8 km, easy – sunny route from Oberwald to Münster.
Night trail
4.5 km, floodlit – between Ulrichen and Obergesteln.
Dog trail
4.3 km – for cross-country skiing with dogs between Oberwald and Obergesteln.

Nordic Center Goms
The Nordic Center Goms in Geschinen is the heart of the cross-country skiing region. It offers:
- A homologated FIS race trail over 4.1 km.
- A modern biathlon facility with 30 targets.
- A 3 km long roller ski run with 12 different routes.
- Service building with waxing boxes, showers, changing rooms and toilets.
- A bistro and multifunctional rooms for events.
- Accessible / Bus stop: Ulrichen train station

Arrival and contact
Goms is easily accessible with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. The trails are easily accessible from the train stations.
